Felix is the founder of ENTRAIDE. He graduated from the University of Birmingham with an MA in Social Policy (2009) and an MSc. in International Development (2010) . He is currently a Housing Officer for Solihull Children’s Services. He also acts as a Consultant for the International Centre for Migration Development Policy (ICMDP) and delivers training on Working with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) and Triple Planning. Felix has also worked for 7 years as a Development Programmes Manager for an international NGO in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Giulia graduated from the Aalborg University with an MA in Global Refugee Studies, Development and International Relations. Before joining Entraide in 2017, she help different roles in Refugee Services at the British Red Cross. She has experience in supporting vulnerable individuals in various settings in the UK and abroad.
Alia graduated from the University of Wolverhampton with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology. She has a background in mental health and extensive experience in volunteer management. Alia is responsible for recruiting and supporting volunteers for Entraide to help aid the transition of asylum seekers and refugees as fully integrated members of the local community.
Beverley manages all the activities of the Homework Club since 2018. She graduated from the Open University with a MA in Education (Gender in Education). She also holds a PGCE in Drama in Education from Birmingham Polytechnic. She has an extensive background in teaching, 1:1 and group tutoring in the education sector and supporting students with mental health and behavioural issues.
Magda graduated from the University of Glasgow with a MA in Digital Media and Information Studies and also has a MSc in Media Management. She has extensive experience in various countries in marketing, Project Management and volunteering in both non-profit and commercial environments. She also has experience with vulnerable groups with organising and running activities in a refugee camp in Greece.
Cirhuza has bee with Entraide since July 2019 dealing with casework and advocacy. He has a degree in Regional Planning and one in Business Management. Cirhuza has extensive Casework experience and Project Management experience with refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants both abroad and in the UK, where he has facilitated their integration into society.
Sophie is currently pursuing a BA in English and Cultural Studies from Warwick University and also holds an advanced TEFL certificate. She has experience teaching English and French abroad and in the UK to adults from ethnic minority backgrounds. She also has experience working with young people with significant mental health problems.
Muna supports both the Homework Club and Casework projects thanks to her language skills. She graduated from University of Baghdad with a BA in Arabic Literacy language. Muna spent a considerable number of years in Sweden and has extensive experience in the UK and abroad as a primary teacher of Arabic and volunteered with Birmingham Mind.
